Dr Wilson Banda is the ZIE Membership Services and Training Officer. He co-ordinates the Institution’s Continuous Professional Development portfolio and serves as the ZIE country registrar for membership. Wilson has a PhD in Teacher Education from the University of Fort Hare (South Africa). He is an alumnus of the University of Zimbabwe, where he obtained the following academic and professional qualifications: Certificate in Education (Primary), B.Ed. (Primary) and M.Ed. (Curriculum and Arts Education). He brings to the Institution the experience of an Instructional Designer, Educational Manager, and Educational Consultant, having served for decades as a classroom practitioner, school head, and principal lecturer in teacher education. Dr Banda is an avid reader and writer. He has authored dozens of notable publications. His major publications are ‘The Treasure Pearls’, a Grade 7 English Language Passbook, and ‘Team Building and Development: Conception, Themes and Perspectives’. Overall, Dr Banda is an influential thought leader with global digital footprints. He is an astute subject-matter expert in Critical Consciousness and Life Skills, Language Arts, and Transformative Curriculum. Lastly, he is a notable public speaker with excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Access, CorelDRAW, Excel, Internet of Things (IoT), PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word. These have strengthened his passion for providing professional editorial services for postgraduate dissertations and theses.
